the ocean is just so rejuvenating. even if for a few moments, to put your toes into the water is just so wonderful! living in the desert, it doesn't happen often enough, so i make a point of it when i visit l.a. and then, there are all the beach treasures to be found and inspired by! i admit i picked up a few dried bugs, sea kelp and random things with potential. afternoons like this inspire me to be more grounded and at one with the ebb + flow of the planet.
